I often wonder about the stupidity I see and read about concerning the human endeavor. In this case, it is about Jewish-Zionism and the rantings of evangelical leader Jana Ben-Nun.
Zionism is not a single movement. According to a Wikipedia posting, there are at least ten segments of Zionism, including Christian-Zionism, those Christians who believe that the Jewish nation must exist for the second coming of their god.
Today, Zionists advocate on behalf of Israel and address threats to its continued existence and security. Zionists can be found on the right and left sides of Israeli politics. This is not to be confused with organizations such as Peace Now which seeks an equitable solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but what Israel to maintain its independence.
The other culprit is Rick Wiles who hosted Ben-Nunn his TruNews radio/Internet program. Wiles is a well-known Christian anti-Semite who claims that Jewish-Zionists are trying to make all humans androgynous through the transgender movement in order to take over the world.
If Wiles’ name sounds familiar, he is the right-wing extremist Christian who predicted in 2018 if “Democrats ever gain control over the government again, they will immediately begin slaughtering Christians by the thousands.” Never happened.
This is the same Wiles who stated who in 2016 he was “discussed ‘the possible occult connections’ to the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, whom he concluded was murdered by President Obama and was a human sacrifice to mark the pagan festival of Lupercalia.”
This time, Wiles asked Ben-nun a question concerning Zionism and the state of Israel. Ben-Nun proceeded to respond that there is a secret conspiracy within the Jewish-Zionist movement to make all humans androgynous, of Adam Kadmon.
The origin for Adam Kadmon story comes from the Kabbalah and the story of Adam (Primordial or Original Man). The conspiracy comes from the right-wing evangelicals who believe in the mythology, and Ben-Nun claims that non-Christian Zionists are unaware of this movement.
For those of you not fluent in the Kabbalah story of Adam Kadmon, here is the possible reasoning behind the extremist Christian doctrine by Voyen Koreis in his book The Kabbalah: A Timeless Philosophy of Life.
“In Genesis 2:7 we find …
‘Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being.’
The dual aspect of man is thus nicely explained to us here:
Firstly, man is formed from the dust of the ground. This is Adam, the man made of adamah, the earth, the man of the earth, the physical man, an androgynous being.
Secondly, God breathes into the man’s nostrils. This was the breath of God, the spiritual fire, the breath that made the man become Ish, the spiritual man. Before this he was only Adam, now he became the living soul, endowed with the breath of God.”
The Kabbalah is “an esoteric method, discipline, and school of thought in Jewish mysticism,” made up by man to further explain the mysticism of the Jewish faith. It was written in the 13th Century and was attributed to the ancient Rabbi Simeon Bar Yochai, though modern scholars largely agree that it was primarily written by Moshe de Leon, a Spanish mystic.
There are many followers of the Kabbalah traditions, including Roseanne Barr, Madonna, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and President Donald Trump’s former wife, Marla Maples.
If Adam was an androgynous being, then the entire tale of Genesis needs to be rewritten. It would also negate that Adam was a “man” when created by God. It is not until Genesis 2:20 when God takes the rib of man to create woman that the sexuality of “man” is finally identified as male.
Marian T. Horvat, Ph.D., even suggests of an “Androgynous Christ, which leads on its twisted road to a parallel androgynous first man, Adam Kadmon.”
It also shows that at the time of its writing (or telling), there was only the bi-gender designations of “man” and “woman.”
Even today, we do not really have a term for a transgender or androgynous person. We now use the term “They” to designate a person who does not identify as either male or female.
Back to Ben-Nun. Her stupidity is most evident as she explains the Adam Kadmon story and its relationship to Zionism. She told Wiles:
“(Zionists) want to bring (the earth) to the original. Who was original? Adam. He was androgynous. So now they’re putting specific things in food, in drink, and basically their end game is to make humans on Earth that will survive — whatever it is they are bringing — androgynous.”
I cannot find words as to the outlandish nature and stupidity of this statement.
