Nguyễn Văn Quyết’s Loyalty to Hanoi FC Continues

On February 14, 2025, Hanoi FC announced the extension of team captain Nguyễn Văn Quyết’s contract, ensuring his presence at the club until the 2027/2028 season. After 15 years of dedication to the club, Nguyễn Văn Quyết has not only become a symbol of loyalty but also a witness to the club’s glorious milestones. Over the years, he has played 378 matches across all competitions, scored 169 goals, and contributed significantly to Hanoi FC’s successes in the V.League.

As captain, Quyết led the team to 5 V.League titles (2013, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022), 3 National Cups (2019, 2020, 2022), and 4 Super Cups (2018, 2019, 2020, 2022), showcasing his leadership both on and off the pitch.

Nguyễn Văn Quyết’s Legendary Achievements and Future Commitment

In the 2024/2025 season, Nguyễn Văn Quyết continued to cement his status as a V.League legend. He surpassed the legendary Lê Công Vinh’s record of 116 goals, becoming the top goal scorer in V.League history with 119 goals. In his most recent match against Sông Lam Nghệ An, Quyết scored a brace, further solidifying his place as one of Vietnam’s greatest footballers.

Recognizing his consistency and exceptional leadership, Hanoi FC’s management decided to extend Quyết’s contract. Personally, Nguyễn Văn Quyết reaffirmed his commitment to the club, emphasizing his desire to dedicate his career to the purple jersey of Hanoi FC.
